1. Who you are contracting with
Driive is provided by:
Questions and requests: support@driive.cloud. We answer in English or Swedish.
2. What the service is
Driive is a subscription to storage space. You get a fixed amount of space, reachable through the web and — where the desktop app is available for your platform — as a mounted drive in Finder or Windows Explorer. Files are stored with Cloudflare R2 in a European region.
The service is not a backup service and does not replace your own copy of anything irreplaceable. Without an encrypted vault the storage is not end-to-end encrypted: we can technically reach stored content, and do so only where operation, security or the law requires it. If you enable an encrypted vault, contents and file names are encrypted on your device and the key never leaves it.
3. Price and payment
Prices are in Swedish kronor. The amount you see is the amount charged — nothing is added at checkout. The subscription is paid a month in advance and renews automatically until you cancel. Payment is handled by Stripe; we never store your card details.
The seller is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged on the price. Should that change, you will be told before it applies to you.
4. Right of withdrawal
You have 14 days to withdraw from the contract from the day it was concluded. Tell us at support@driive.cloud — no reason is needed.
If you choose to start using the service during that period, you consent to it beginning immediately and lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed. If you used part of the period, you pay a proportionate amount.
On withdrawal we refund within 14 days, using the same payment method you used.
5. Changing size and cancelling
You can change size or cancel at any time under Billing. Moving up takes effect immediately and is prorated. Moving down requires what you have stored to fit in the smaller size.
On cancellation the subscription runs to the end of the period. We do not refund remaining days of a started period, except where the right of withdrawal applies or the fault is ours.
6. What happens when the subscription ends
- The drive becomes read-only. You can still sign in, read and download your files.
- You can delete files even while the drive is read-only, so you can free space or clean up.
- After a retention window your files are scheduled for deletion. We send notice to your email before anything is removed, and do not delete until that notice has provably been delivered.
- If you reactivate before the deletion happens, everything is as it was.
7. Price changes
We may change the price. You will be told by email at least 30 days before it applies to you, and the new price takes effect at your next renewal. If you do not accept it, you can cancel before it takes effect.
8. If a payment does not go through
We retry and tell you. The drive works as usual during a grace period. If payment still does not go through the drive becomes read-only, and section 6 then applies.
9. Fair use
Each plan has a monthly transfer allowance. It exists so one account cannot make the service slow for everyone else. If you reach the ceiling, large transfers are slowed — your files are never removed and never made unavailable because of it. The allowance resets monthly.
10. What you may not store
You may not use Driive for material that is illegal to hold or distribute, to infringe others' rights, or to distribute malicious code. We do not routinely monitor content, but we act on reports and on what the law requires. Serious breaches can lead to the account being closed.
11. Availability and liability
We promise no particular uptime and give no availability guarantee. We do what can reasonably be expected to keep the service working, but interruptions can happen.
Our liability for damages is limited to what you have paid for the service in the last twelve months. The limit does not apply to intent or gross negligence, and does not restrict your mandatory rights as a consumer.
12. Your data
How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy. You own your content; we make no claim to it and use it for nothing other than delivering the service.
13. Disputes and governing law
Swedish law applies. If you are a consumer, you always keep the protection that mandatory rules in your own country of residence give you.
If we disagree, you can go to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (arn.se) or the EU dispute platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We take part in ARN proceedings.
14. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. Material changes are announced by email at least 30 days in advance. If you keep using the service after a change takes effect you have accepted it; otherwise you can cancel before then.
